Who we are

This site is operated by Hanley Motorsports Inc ("HMI", "we", "us"), a sports car racing organization headquartered in Georgia, United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit hanleymotorsports.com or any subdomain, and how we use it.

What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. The categories of information that may pass through this site are:

• Access credentials. If you sign in to the private preview or to the admin area, we store an encrypted session cookie in your browser (hmi_admin) so you stay signed in. The cookie does not contain personal information beyond your username or a viewer flag.
• Information you send us. If you contact us by email, send a sponsorship inquiry, or submit a form on this site, we receive the content you provided: your name, email address, organization, and message. We use that information only to respond.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request logs: approximate location derived from IP, browser user-agent, timestamp, and the URL requested. These are retained on Vercel's infrastructure under their own policies.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers or analytics pixels on this site. We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

• To keep you signed in to private or admin areas.
• To respond to inquiries you send us.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site (e.g. diagnosing errors or abuse).
• To comply with our legal obligations.

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie (hmi_admin) for the preview gate and admin sign-in. It is HTTP-only, signed, and expires when your browser closes the session. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Service providers

We use a small set of trusted infrastructure providers to run this site:

• Vercel for hosting, edge delivery, and request logs.
• Neon for managed PostgreSQL hosting news posts, announcements, and operational content.
• Unsplash, where some photography on the site is served from Unsplash's CDN under the Unsplash License.

These providers handle data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and security standards.

Data retention

Session cookies expire when your browser session ends. Inquiries you send are retained for as long as needed to respond and meet any legal or business requirement. Server logs are retained by Vercel under their standard schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, email privacy@hanleymotorsports.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above will reflect the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will provide a notice on the site.
